Description
As a Manager, you will:
- perform quality reviews of audit files for ethics issues
- draft responses to technical queries and consultations on a range of topics across FRC and IESBA Ethical Standards
- lead the writing of intranet resources and technical guidance on ethics related matters
- complete thematic reviews on specific ethics related subject matter
- get involved in compliance and monitoring required under the ethics standard
- present, or support presenters on ethics related matters, at both internal and external training events
- keep up to date with professional developments in ethics related matters
- identify opportunities arising from changes in legislation or ethical standards to develop the firm's service offerings
- manage, motivate, appraise, coach and mentor others
Profile
The ideal candidate will be a Manager in another accountancy firm and hold a professional accountancy qualification, such as ACA or ACCA.
Experience of performing reviews of audit files for ethical issues is preferred, but not essential.
Job Offer
Salary up to £65,000.
The location of this role is flexible, but would require 2 days a week on average in London.
