The Role
As the Bookkeeper for the practice, you will be responsible for delivering general accounting related support to your client portfolio. Your core duties will include:
- Weekly bookkeeping for client portfolio
- Accounts payable/receivable
- Payroll and Superannuation management including reporting
- Preparation of monthly bank reconciliations
- Preparation of BAS & IAS - monthly & quarterly
- Monthly management accounts (including Profit & Loss and Balance Sheet)
- Processing of year-end adjustments
- Adhoc support to the Tax Accountants
- Minimum 3 years Bookkeeping experience
- Certificate IV in Bookkeeping/Accounting required
- Previous experience with Xero
- Intermediate MS Office skills, including Excel
- External stakeholder management experience
