Finance Officer

About the Role:

A Fixed term contract (12 months) has become available for a Finance Officer working in our Billing and Claiming (RDNS) team based in our busy office in Kelvin Grove.

You will be part of the team responsible for providing accurate and timely processing of customer transactions for the organisation. Primary tasks are accounts receivable including, high volume billing and adjustments, invoice and statement processing, customer set ups and maintenance, receipting, refunds, various reconciliations, and assisting our customers and onsite staff on an ongoing basis and other tasks and projects as allocated by the Team Leader.

Demonstrated ability to provide excellent customer service in a fast-paced environment You must be able to problem solve, use initiative and be highly autonomous

Actively listen while also performing other tasks

The ability to multi-task while keeping priorities clearly in mind

At peak times, we experience high volumes of inbound calls supporting older people, their families and carers

Accounts receivable experience a must Ability to manage and manipulate large volumes of data Intermediate skills in Microsoft Office, with data manipulation and analysis Demonstrated experience with a computerised financial accounting system Fast and accurate data entry skills
