The Role

We are currently looking for an accountant or lawyer to join our Tax Knowledge Management (TKM) team. The selected candidate will report to the TKM head.

Over the past years, TKM has proved to be an indispensable support service for our tax professionals and has great ambition to deliver more. The TKM team:

• Assists client-facing tax professionals in the delivery of an effective and efficient tax service from a tax technical perspective;
• Ensures that tax professionals are well-versed with the latest tax developments;
• Is responsible for the collection, recording, management and dissemination of tax knowledge within the Tax function; and
• Is involved in establishing and contributing to the firm’s positions on the interpretation of tax law.

The role gives the opportunity to the selected candidate to have technical exposure to and interact with area experts in different fields of tax law.

The Right Fit

We are looking for an accountant or lawyer with a minimum of 4 years’ experience in tax law including Maltese tax. Fluency in English is a requirement. The role is ideal for professionals with a passion for tax and knowledge sharing and who do not wish to take up or remain in an external client-facing role. Analytical skills, technical knowledge as well as organisation, people and management skills are important. People who keep on learning, who want to make a difference. People of integrity and independence of mind. 

Professionals wishing to work on a reduced hours basis will be considered.
