As part of the structures, we are looking for specialists in the field of international accounting, human resources and payroll, and global entity management. We also build teams that will be responsible for handling international funds and supporting internal financial processes of the TMF Group

Job Purpose:

The primary responsibility of the Senior Accountant is to work with the Accounting Team based in Italy in meeting the accounting, tax and other reporting commitments of the relevant clients. S/he is responsible for individual goals and helping to meet the wider departmental goals. Furthermore the Senior Accountant will ensure timely and quality accounts preparation and calculation and daily deliverables of excellent services to a portfolio of assigned clients.

Key Responsibility:

• Accounting entries
• Assures compliance to VAT principles
• Calculation of monthly withholding tax
• Preparation of Tax return
• Calculation of Italian Municipal Property taxes (IMU, TASI)
• Creates queries and reports on Payroll data
• Prepares simple financial reports or supports Senior Accounting Specialist in predisposing complex financial reports
• Escalates to more senior members of staff relevant queries
• Supports and manages clients and internal requests in a timely manner

Job specific requirements

• Working knowledge of English
•  Working knowledge of Italian
• Expertise in all MS Office packages (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and
• Outlook)
• High School Diploma and/or Degree Economics
• 4/ 5 years’ experience in similar Role
• Good client services skills and ability to meet required deadlines
• Ensure that all accounting procedures remain in line with applicable law and overall objectives
• Knowledge of Accounting and budget account
• Operational knowledge of VAT and other corporate taxation matters
• Working knowledge and understanding of international financial/capital markets and financial instruments
