We are JYSK - multinational retail company of Scandinavian products within sleeping and living. Our first stores were open in Arhus in Denmark in 1979. Our founder is Lars Larsen.

JYSK - is a fast expanding company: we have more than 3 000 stores in 51 countries. In 2020 we have opened our first stores in Russia. Now we have 5 stores and we have big plans for further expansion in Russia.

We are searching for a result driven, proactive, competent and committed Chief accountant who will report to the Financial Manager and lead accounting team.

Your primary areas of responsibility:

• Ensure the preparation of all financial and tax reports
• Communicate and coordinate external and internal audits
• Contact and report to authorities (including reconciliations)
• Organize work of accounting department, set tasks and deadlines, development of personnel
• Participation in various projects
• Participate in development and improvement of administrative procedures
• Timely updates of local policies

What do we expect from you?

• Experience at position of Chief accountant/deputy chief accountant for 3 years as a minimum (General tax system only, foreign company)
• Experience at full annual reporting preparation (accounting and tax)
• Knowledge of RAS and Tax code
• Fluent English language skills: spoken as well as written
• Experience in SAP
• Ability to work with many deadlines and being very structured
