Michael Page are recruiting for an Interim Financial Accountant to join a Public Sector organisation based in Barnsley but offering full remote working if required.

Client Details

The client is a large, well known Public Sector organisation based in Barnsley. They hold a great reputation and are known for being an excellent employer with a range of career opportunities. They are looking for an Interim Financial Accountant to join their established Finance team.

Description

As an Interim Financial Accountant, duties will include but are not limited to, performing financial control reviews, producing the annual accounts, preparing statutory accounts, producing monthly balance sheet reviews, producing reconciliations, maintaining the trial balance and cash book for the organisations accounts, monitoring the income and expenditure, dealing with any queries and other ad hoc duties.

Profile

The successful candidate will:

  • Be immediately available or on a weeks notice ESSENTIAL
  • Be a fully Qualified Accountant ESSENTIAL
  • Have produced statutory accounts ESSENTIAL
  • Have excellent Excel skills ESSENTIAL
  • Have produced annual accounts ESSENTIAL

Job Offer

£38,000- £45,000 + Interim Financial Accountant + weekly pay + Barnsley based organisation but with full remote working if required + PAYE/Umbrella + Public Sector Organisation
