Your field of responsibility

Join us as a Director for Investment Banking trade reconciliation, analysis, validation within Group Finance. Ability to manage the operational process and strategic projects to cater to the business requirement. Independently manage senior director level partners, work in great collaboration and partnership globally. Manage and deliver the business process Key Performance Indicators and KRI with tight timelines and accuracy. Strong demonstration of control approach and can supervise and work with high level of integrity. Guide and motivate high potential team which includes VPs. Overall team size will be 35-40FTE. Able to train and transform the team with strong innovation approach. Comes with strong negotiation skills and able to work assertively to meet the challenging deliverables. Strong team management and ability to nurture leaders for the future.

Your future colleagues

Financial Accounting is responsible for the legal and regulatory reporting including notes and disclosures of Credit Suisse and the associated controls around the data referenced in this process. FMAR-Financial Management Accounting and Reporting team is mainly involved in legal entity reporting, regulatory and statutory reporting, Intercompany Reconciliations, Innovation and Big Data Platform projects (F1). Team is dedicated, hardworking, works with complete freedom and collaboratively. Your skills and experience

We are looking for

  • Qualified Chartered Accountant / MBA Finance
  • Equivalent work experience of 16-18 years’ in a financial service industry with prior experience in banking or similar industry
  • Understand the concept of data management, reconciliation, validation and exception management.
  • Understand the broader picture and help navigate change and IT delivery to the business outcome
  • Outstanding team management and leadership skills is a must.
  • Ability to manage and nurture diverse set of talent and bring best out of them.
  • Experience of project execution in area of operational improvement and finance system migration
  • Exposure to working on accounting topics/ standards
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills along with decision making skills
  • Proven skills on Innovation tools for banking industry
  • Ability to strategically implement Innovation book of work
  • Understanding of global banking products like Loans, Derivatives, Repo
  • Good presentation skills and the ability to think logically and independently to tackle problems and work around tight deadlines
  • Working knowledge of implementing any finance related system will be added advantage
  • Ambitious, dedicated, hardworking and independent whilst also work collaboratively
