This is a newly created role that has arisen due to the organisation's growth. The role is initially being recruited as a 6 month contract, but our client thinks the role will become permanent.
Client Details
Our client is a growing, well established and stable organisation. It has a an extremely friendly and supportive finance team of c. 16. The office in based in Lincoln city centre, and this role will be predominantly office based, but there may be some home working.
Description
The Financial Accountant will be reporting into the ACCA qualified Senior Management Accountant. You will be working as part of a team to prepare, examine and analyse financial reports and records. Your duties will include, but will not be limited to:
- Assisting in consolidating the group accounts, including income and expenditure and balance sheets
- Assisting in overseeing the month end process and review of balance sheet reconciliations and income and expenditure control accounts
- Creating and producing KPI reports for the monthly reporting packs
- Support with monthly re-forecasting
- Attending quarterly meetings with the budget holders
- Producing various management and operational reports to assist budget holders with managing their costs and revenue targets
- Completing VAT returns
- Assisting in preparing consolidated and non-consolidated annual financial statements
- Support with streamlining processes
- Supporting with year-end
- Liaising with internal and external auditors
Profile
To apply for this position, you must have:
- a proven track record of working in finance
- experience of preparing financial statements and reports
- experience of analysing data and producing reports
- strong Excel skills e.g. v look ups and pivot tables
You will be available to start a new position within 1 week.
Job Offer

- A salary between £31,900 and £32,970
- A 37.5 hour working week
