Credit Controller

Page Personnel are recruiting a Credit Controller for a construction business in Derby. This is a great opportunity to take full responsibility of the credit control and sales ledger at a very friendly and well established business.

Our client is an construction business in Derby.

Description

You will be reporting into the Financial Controller and will be working as part of a small finance team of c. 4. You will be solely responsible for managing the sales invoicing and credit control in the business. Duties will include, but will not be limited to:

• Raising and inputting sales invoices
• Liaising with customers
• Chasing outstanding debt
• Processing receipts
• Reconciling the bank, petty cash and credit card
• Producing sales and debt reports for the Financial Controller

Profile

To apply for this role you:

• Must have experience of working in sales ledger or credit control
• Must have worked in the construction industry
• Will ideally have used Sage Line 50

Job Offer

This is a permanent opportunity and our client is offering:

• A competitive salary between £25,000 and £28,000
• 20 days holiday plus statutory days
• Initially due to COVID there will be some home working, but when we return to "normal" the role will be office based
• 37.5 hour working week, and the start and finish hours are flexible
• If you are keen to study an accounting qualification, study support will be available after probationary period
