The European Finance HUB is a part of the GSK global operating model, responsible for serving the European region. There are a similar two units, responsible for serving the Americas and APAC, located in Costa Rica and Malaysia respectively. Our regional finance hubs are centres of expertise that work together as one finance team to share best practice and knowledge, working closely with other markets and colleagues from our global headquarters in London.
We are looking for a Purchase to Pay Operations Performance Lead to manage P2P Pharma or Consumer HC Operations from the European Finance Hub in Poznan. This includes responsibility for the P2P GSK Operations Centre (GOC) in Bucharest, Romania and the P2P GSK Operations Centres in India (Gurgaon and Hyderabad)
How you will contribute to our success:
Manage GSK P2P operations for the Pharmaceuticals business Or Consumer Business (performance delivery, development and talent conversations) and drive alignment, including GOC, to deliver together the agreed GSK & GFS priorities & objectivesDrive improvement of the end to end P2P service delivery including regional and local activities such as Vendor Master Data, Business Banking, Invoice Processing, Ops Compliance and P2P HelpdeskDrive the stabilization of services in the P2P Service delivery locations, applying ADP/lean methodology and structure to avoid “firefighting” approach and to support lead KPIs – Focus on activities to be carried ahead of change.Set direction and inspire the team, both in Poznan and in the other locations.Define & deploy key projects, initiatives and P2P roadmap with Operations and alongside the Global Process Owner teams, to address performance gaps and continuously improve the effectiveness and efficiency of service delivery by anticipating trends and changesIdentify & deploy plans to develop necessary capabilities within P2P Operations teamsEnsure that a risk focused mindset is embedded in all teams and that risks are appropriately identified, monitored, managed and escalated where necessaryAct as an escalation point for service issues raised - ensure the end to end service is fit for purpose and to ensure important organizational issues aren’t overlooked, are minimized or not ignored. Ensure these have the right level of attention and resolution from Process Improvement Experts and BPOManage Relationship with GSK senior stakeholders and gather formal and informal feedback from customers and stakeholders through Customer boards, Interviews, VOC or surveys. Ideally, we are looking for a Finance professional with the below:
University Degree in Finance, Accountancy, Business or related fields.MBA diploma will be an advantage.Minimum 5 years of managerial experience in and out of P2P department.ACCA or CIMA certificate will be an advantage.Proven experience in interactions with VP business partners or supplier executives.Proven experience leading across a matrix organizationProven experience leading large teams in a number of geographical locationsLeadership experience in SSC or BPO environment.Excellent communication, stakeholder and team management.Fluent spoken and written English.
