To be able to offer best prices to our customer, we are looking for a Senior Finance Manager to lead the EU Free Cash-Flow (FCF) program - one of our key programs across EU to optimize the profitability of our Retail business. In this role you will have the opportunity to think strategically and make a significant impact. This is a perfect position for someone who likes to connect the dots between business and finance, and is keen to understand Amazon Retail in depth across all product families.

Responsibilities will include:
• You drive the strategic direction of the FCF Program and are the key contact for EU Senior Retail leadership when it comes to optimizing our profitability via dedicated initiatives.
• You will partner closely with Retail Teams from all angles of the business to identify and scale high impact profitability initiatives.
• You recruit, develop and lead your team to continuously raise the bar on its performance.
• You manage a complex stakeholder structure with senior Retail leaders across all product families and marketplaces.
• You have the freedom and opportunity to consult, challenge and influence business decisions and drive our long-term free cash flow.
• You take ownership of different FCF program reviews (Pan-EU level) to EU Senior Leadership incl. document writing.
• You are responsible for improving our FCF reporting and running and continuously enhancing the short- and mid- and long-term planning processes.
• You influence tech roadmaps by partnering with worldwide Tech Teams to automatize and scale our FCF initiatives.

Location - The position can be based in London or Munich.

Travelling - moderate travelling should be expected as part of this role.

Basic Qualifications:
• University degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
• Several years working experience in finance, consulting, investment banking or similar.
• Experience in leading a team.
• Excellent communication skills in English.

Preferred Qualifications:
• Strong MS Office skills (including advanced knowledge of Excel).
• Ability to successfully manage multiple stakeholders & priorities simultaneously, without losing the big picture out of sight.
• Understanding of (Retail) business processes (e.g. supply chain).
• Familiarity with mechanisms of a complex matrix-organization.
• Strong relationship building skills and ability to work collaboratively.
