Navitas Limited, of which SAE and University Partnerships are Business Units, is a diversified global education provider that offers an extensive range of educational services for students and professionals including university programmes, language training, student recruitment and workforce education.
We are looking for an Accounts Payable Manager who will be responsible for leading the Accounts Payable team and ensuring transactions within the function are in completed accurately, timely, and in accordance with the best practice benchmarks used by SAE to measure effectiveness.
A vital role within the Finance service provision to campuses, students and other key stakeholder groups, this position is actively involved in working with stakeholders and implementing controls and process improvements. Excellent communication skills are critical as there is a need to manage a wide array of stakeholders, including non-financial managers.
This role is key to adding value by leading, creating and ensuring a high energy environment, an extremely motivated team and taking responsibility for ensuring that appropriate financial policies and procedures are emplaced and that compliance requirements fulfilled.
Essential Criteria:
• AAT qualified or similar
• Experience in managing and overseeing a financial service, especially with accounts payable
• Excellent team management skills and line management experience, including training and coaching
• Good Excel and analytical skills
• Professional appearance and outstanding customer service
• Ability to work on own initiative and problem solve
• Must have right to live and work in the UK
Desirable Criteria:
• User knowledge of Oracle EBusiness Suite
• Experience working with students
