Pure are pleased to be recruiting a Management Accountant role for a high growth, privately owned business, based in South Essex.

You will report into the Financial Controller and have the following key responsibilities:- •
Preparation of monthly management accounts in line with the reporting timetable •
Preparation of accompanying analysis on variances •
Calculating and processing accruals, prepayments and journal entries •
Update and maintenance of fixed asset register •
Completion of VAT return •
Assist with internal and external audits •
Develop and implements process improvements to ensure financial processes are effective and efficient •
Assist with the annual budget process •
Ad hoc tasks as and when required
Candidate requirements:- •
Finalist or Qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) •
Advanced Excel user •
Excellent presentation and communication skills both written and verbal •
Strong analytical and problem solving skills •
Experience in system and process improvements
