PGIM Real Estate Finance - Agricultural Asset Manager
PGIM Agricultural Investments(PAI) is a business within PGIM Real Estate Finance, which is a wholly ownedsubsidiary of Prudential Financial, Inc. Leveraging a 100 year history inagricultural equity/real estate management services and lending, Prudential'sagriculture business provides equity management services and lending in theagribusiness sector throughout the United States.
With the combination of newfunding and current and new investment mandates, PAI will soon be approaching$1 billion invested in Western United States agriculture. PAI is seeking toexpand the investment and asset management team by hiring an Asset Manager inour Fresno, CA location.
This position willreport directly to the Senior Asset Manager for the PAI Western Region. This role will manage a portion of theagricultural real estate investments portfolio in the Western United Sates aswell as assist with commodity research and asset acquisitions in the region.
Primary Responsibilities:
AssetManagement:
Manage a select number of properties withinthe Western Region Portfolio, evaluate performance of each and determine how tomake improvements and deliver strong returns to clients.
Prepare quarterly reports, annual businessplans, and financial modeling for redevelopment recommendations.
Act as central point of contact inconjunction with farm management team with onsite managers, commodityprocessors, internal team members, and third-party vendors.
Assist with strategy development, cropoperating budgets, capital improvement budgets, farm management agreements,crop insurance, and crop marketing for each managed property.
Visit properties regularly and reviewmonthly financial reports to evaluate year to date performance for monthlyoperation reporting for senior management.
Conduct various industry research andanalysis projects including assisting with quarterly commodity marketingupdates and annual commodity newsletter.
Assist in client and prospective clientmeetings and tours as needed.
Participate in selected trade associationsto develop industry market understanding.
Acquisitions:
Assist the Western Region Head ofAcquisitions with the acquisition of properties associated with the client of managedproperties.
Participate in the business evaluation ofproperties and completion of due diligence process including on-siteinspections.
Develop and maintain relationships withbrokers and other market participants to assist with sourcing property acquisitionopportunities for consideration within the region.

Qualifications:
- 10+ years ofexperience in agricultural related field.
- An undergraduatedegree in Agricultural Economics, Real Estate, Finance, or a related field.
- A California RealEstate Sales or Brokerage license would be highly desirable.
- Unquestionedintegrity.
- Strong work ethicwith a commitment to customer service
- Excellent oraland written communications skills, excellent presentation skills, and highlyeffective analytical skills.
- Strongorganizational skills and attention to detail.
