We're looking for a candidate to fill this position in an exciting company.

  • Lead and co-ordinate the enterprise risk management agenda to include chairing the Executive Risk Committee and presentation of the Group risk register to the Board and other stakeholders as appropriate
  • Design and implement an overall risk management framework and controls for the organisation, including analysis of the financial impact on the company when risks occur
  • Monitor, evaluate and action all risks on an ongoing basis including supporting business continuity planning
  • Lead and support any risk related matters on any Group initiatives and projects
  • Utilise a data analytics risk-based approach to formulate and execute audit plans and continuous monitoring programme plans including efficiency and control improvement opportunities across the business
  • Monitoring of and follow up on all audit related actions and activities across the business
  • Co-ordinate and collate all risk and audit papers or materials required for Group Board and company reporting
  • Ad hoc support to Board and members of senior management on any risk, audit or compliance matters or related project as required
  • Liaise with external auditors as required
  • People management of internal audit team
  • Participate in broader Group projects as required as a key member of Group senior management
  • Qualified ACA/ACCA with at least 5 years' experience in a finance senior management role
  • Broad finance experience in addition to Group risk management/Internal Audit experience

  • Strong people management skills with proven track record of building a high performing team and acting as a coach and role model for the Internal Audit team.
  • Adept communicator with ability to listen well and to understand and deal with competing or differing viewpoints and opposing needs and reach a mutual outcome for the business.
  • Strong work ethic and highly committed individual who can meet all required deadlines.
  • A highly organised individual with ability to plan and prioritise workloads effectively for maximum impact and adapt around changing priorities as required

  • A positive attitude with a solution focused approach to challenges that arise
  • Exceptional interpersonal, communication and teamwork skills, and ability to influence and develop relationships with individuals at all levels of the organisation
