Job Description & Summary
A career in our Financial Services Audit practice, within External Audit services, will provide you with the opportunity to provide a range of Assurance services and business advice to a variety of clients from small, fast growing clients to large entities. Our clients are often well known brands and many have broad international reach. We focus on using the latest technology to reduce the level of manual testing ensuring you'll focus on the most valuable areas of client service and on enhancing corporate governance and the reliability of our clients' information.

Our team helps financial organisations navigate regulatory complexity while strengthening trust and transparency in their business. Our clients cover industries within banking and capital markets, private equity, insurance, and consumer finance. While many of the rules of business have changed, the fundamentals haven't. You'll work alongside senior members of the client's management team in planning the audit process from beginning to end, ensuring completeness, accuracy, and fair presentation of our client's information.

How will you value add?

Clients look to you for audit, regulatory, listing, private placement, corporate change and other business-related advice. As Financial Services Assurance Associate, you will undertake audit work under supervision. Working alongside with our Financial Services Assurance team, you will be able to make adjustment or strengthen the application of the skills, to improve works tasks or solve important problems. As you work with some of our top blue-chip clients in this sector, you will expand your connections, enhance business skills and knowledge which help you further your career.

Responsibilities:
  • You will be working on external audit assignments and provide relevant assurance services with the team
  • Engage with clients from financial institutions such as Banking & Capital Markets, Insurance and Asset Management
  • Participate in selected advisory assignments which could include providing advice on accounting for complex arrangements and instruments and financial due diligence.


Technical Skills and Competencies will learn during SGUnited Mid-Career Pathways Programme:
  • Active participation in strategic planning process, including developing goals, objectives and processes
  • Strengthen the concept of auditing and assurance standards and its framework
  • Use of audit technology within the firm
  • Ability to work in a fast pace and dynamic environment
