Financial Accountant

The Financial Accountant will be responsible for providing a full accounting service to clients. This will involve; maintaining financial records in accordance with relevant accounting standards, reporting on financial performance and creating and implementing tools to better analyse and report the financial results for use by the wider business.

Description

Key responsibilities:

• Producing year end statutory accounts
• Monitor cash balances
• Prepare regular cash flows
• Produce quarterly reports
• Responsibility and control of payments
• Liaise with clients, auditors and other professionals
• Adhere to accounting standards and ensure controls are in place and compliance with regulations

Profile

• Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA)
• Previous experience of producing a set of accounts
• Ability to sort and organise large volumes of data
• Ability to work in a past paced environment and prioritise workload to meet tight deadlines
• Able to work independently and as part of a team
• Ambitious and motivated to progress
• Knowledge of pension schemes/accounting will be advantageous
