As an Executive in the Corporate Finance team, you will be responsible for assisting in the delivery of advice in connection with - and the project management of – client transactions. These will typically comprise acquisitions, disposals, management-buy-outs and fundraisings. Tasks are likely to include the production of business plans, information memoranda, financial forecasts and research to identify potential acquisition targets or potential purchasers for our clients’ businesses. You will work closely with clients to gather relevant information and ensure they are kept up to date with progress on projects. The wider Azets team will all work together to meet deadlines together and ensure the client transaction is delivered efficiently.

In terms of qualifications, you will require ACA or ACCA to undertake this position and will build well from a background in audit. The team will nurture and guide you as you learn and develop, ensuring that your client management skills are effective and your technical knowledge is strong. Your journey will continue via mentorship from your senior colleagues to provide soft skills development such as more effective client communications and also steps towards project leadership and staff management.
