The Wealth Management Digital Services organization supports the Northern Trust Wealth Management business unit by driving the vision, strategy and delivery of the overall client and Northern trust employee (referred to as “partners”) experience. Our goal is to create, validate and iteratively deliver a contemporary, integrated experience that enables relationship management teams (and their supporting ecosystem of regional and operational support teams) to provide high touch, personalized interactions with prospects, clients and third party advisors through an efficient and scalable set of tools and operational processes.

We are looking for a Sr. Portfolio Analyst to join the team to support the Portfolio Manager and own defining key results of digital transformation efforts and tracking progress against those results. In this role, you will need to be analytical, a great communicator, and comfortable driving change through influence. You will be interacting with senior leadership across the NT organization to define and implement digital transformation priorities with clear expected outcomes. The individual will work with Digital Services team, Product team, Wealth Management leadership, thought leadership Practice representatives, Mid-to Back Office Operations and Technology partners to foster an innovative and integrated environment.

Major Duties

  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of current client and partner experience and supporting technology and data platforms. Works closely with the Portfolio Manager to implement and continuously evaluate a set of overall experience metrics to ensure business and experience success.
  • Work with initiative owners across the Digital Services portfolio to define overarching outcomes & key results (OKRs). Maintain these OKRs actively on a regular basis and create summary reporting against these OKRs as needed.
  • Define, design, implement and maintain strategic digital dashboard reporting that will provide status, risk and dependency visibility at the mission, journey, initiative and Digital Services portfolio levels. Provide summary reporting of these dashboards as needed.
  • Insure all Digital Services status reporting is consistent. Collaborate with the Portfolio Analyst to maintain portfolio roadmap of status, dependencies and key risks in initiatives across the Digital Services portfolio.
  • Create business cases for new work requests, as needed.
  • Collaborate with Portfolio Analyst keeping capital tracking and expense financials up to date in real time. Follow up with key stakeholders as needed and escalate potential issues to the Portfolio Manager. Create summary views of the capital data as needed for various stakeholder needs.
  • Demonstrate proactive and persistent approach to work while driving open items to completion consistently and independently.
  • Meet with WM leadership to gather, understand and maintain a future-focused initiative list to feed future Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs).

Experience Required

  • Sr. Analyst with 5-7 years of experience comfortable with both tactical support and strategic thinking
