A leading firm of chartered accountants, with an excellent reputation, based in West Cornwall with offices across the region with the potential for the right person to have a main base across any of their offices. The firm acts for a wide spectrum of smaller sole traders, partnerships and limited companies below the audit threshold in turnover, along with a significant and much larger proportion of larger corporate clients up to circa £100million in turnover on their largest client across this region. Clients include well known brands, medium/large sized groups, charities, academies, schools, public sector/not for profit related and other wide ranging clients.

Description

Joining as an Audit and Accounts Manager you will take responsibility for developing and leading and managing the delivery of wide ranging audits for this highly successful and well regarded firm of chartered accountants as well as managing the delivery of accounts and wider ranging practice services to other clients, in a mixed role. You will lead the firms larger audits and manage, supervise and review the quality of work, alongside a hands on role working with clients and managing a team of professionals, providing support and encouragement. The mix of work will be circa at least 60% audit / 40% accounts with involvement with wider ranging and smaller limited companies, SMEs and OMBs providing a varied, more all around role. Profile

For this Audit and Accounts Manager role you will be ACA / ACCA qualified and will have a strong background in audit, or mixed audit/accounts, as an all round professional, at managerial level, gained within an accountancy practice environment from small, medium, large independent firm background or larger top 50, top ten firm environment. You will be seeking an opportunity with progression potential and development, within one of the regions leading firms of chartered accountants.

Job Offer
