Responsibilities:

  • Performing amendments to deposits and fiduciary products.
  • Processing of MM Treasury Deposits and Placements
  • Physical settlement of Money Market Trades
  • Settlement of Fiduciary and MM leg of Premium Instruments
  • Processing of NOSTRO’s Funding
  • Exception monitoring and handling
  • Escalating transaction processing issues to the appropriate department and collaborate on a solution
  • Assisting with control activities, and the launch of new products and services
  • Ensuring processes adhere to audit and control policies
  • Monitoring and suggesting solutions to errors to minimize risk to the bank, through an intermediate knowledge of procedural requirements
  • Reviewing and overseeing the creation of Credit Applications via Credit Approval Accelerator (CAA) and input relevant data using the Credit Platform System
  • Overseeing and whereby required liaising with the intermediary valuers to obtain the quotations and / or valuation reports
  • Maintaining, monitoring and tracking activity logs and checklists of the various stages and components of the loan disbursement and coordinating data and document flows
  • Ensuring preparation of all client offer letters and drawing down instructions and all required documentations for all stages of the process are produced completed and circulated
  • Managing the insurance renewal process end to end
  • Maintaining required standards adhering to local quality controls, assurance and turnaround times as agreed and briefed by the business
  • Maintaining and update operational procedures
  • Leading and/or participating in projects and provide feedback on project related activities
  • Requirements:

  • Excellent spoken and written English
  • Good communication and presentation skills
  • Graduate (Master's degree) – Economy/business administration/ banking background preferred
  • At least 2 years' work experience at banking/financial institutions in Operations or within Financial Market
  • Ability to build strong partnerships global counterparts and cross-divisional colleagues
  • Competent with Microsoft Office tools
  • Good understanding of the inherent risks for each process and operational risks of each product segment
  • Sense for independent work and good team player
  • Reliable and 'can do' attitude
  • Additional certifications (such as ACCA would be an asset)
