Join the Amazon Web Services (AWS) Sales and Marketing Finance team! We are looking for an entrepreneurial, analytical, and creative Financial Analyst to help us redefine the Tech Industry across Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA). The successful candidate will partner with EMEA-wide Go-To-Market teams to drive New Customer Acquisition, accelerate growth across all Industries thru core Enterprise initiatives, Cloud Migration, Strategic Sales Pursuits and Digital Innovation Programs.

We provide organisations with building block web services that allow them to innovate faster and operate their software more cost-effectively. These services-in-the-cloud include on-demand compute capacity, storage, content delivery, querying of structured data, message queuing, and more. The AWS team is building and delivering the next generation of cloud computing that supports public AWS offerings like S3, EC2, and CloudFront. We are innovating new ways of building massively scalable distributed systems.

As a member of the AWS Finance team you will be at the forefront of this transformation, assisting a global list of companies that are taking advantage of a growing set of services and features to run their mission-critical applications.

Job responsibilities include:

- Building complex financial models to provide multi-year revenue growth forecasts for each initiative or program. This will require developing robust analytical frameworks, and the ability to effectively collaborate with various teams throughout the organization to gather inputs and build reporting processes that aid in data-driven decision making.
- Delivering analysis and recommendations to enhance field productivity, improve processes, identify new meaningful performance metrics, and communicate best practices.
- Supporting the creation of business cases, by identifying the key growth drivers and optimal level of investment for each campaign or program
- Validating and improving controllership functions. This includes but is not limited to reporting accuracy, monitoring performance on customer deal commitments, tracking costs and headcount against budget.
- Performing ad-hoc analysis as needed and present findings to senior management.

Basic Qualifications:
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business, economics, or related field
- In-depth relevant Finance experience, with demonstrated ability to perform ad-hoc analysis and modeling to support strategic decision-making
- Advanced skills in managing large volumes of data, building financial models in Excel and/or Tableau
- Strong written and oral communication skills

Preferred Qualifications:
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Comfort with ambiguity and creative problem-solving, ability to work with autonomy
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple, competing priorities in an energetic, fast-paced environment
- Excellent business judgment and experience in a business partnering role
- Ability to write code and use SQL or similar tools
- An MBA or MS in Finance, Economics, or a related field
