Description
As a Payroll Officer based from Farnham, Surrey you will be responsible for
Reporting into the Payroll Supervisor, to work as part of team to ensure all payrolls are run by requisite deadlines
- Liaise with clients with regards to their payroll needs
- Collate information and process client payrolls, using "Star" software
- Issue pay by BACS transfers, and Autopay
- Set up new starters and process leavers
- Submit information to HMRC in accordance with deadlines
- Upload auto enrolment information to pension providers
- Create and upload payroll journals
- Resolve queries raised by clients
- Liaise with HMRC, submit payments and resolve PAYE and NI queries
- Prepare new client quotations for payroll and pension
Profile
- Experience in Payroll is essential
- Experience in the same sector is beneficial but not essential
- Experience using the "Star" software is beneficial but not essential
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Strong IT skills
Job Offer
- Salary £25,000 - £32,000
- Holiday 23 days per annum, this increases after 2 years, bringing it to 25 days per annum
