The Company

Induction Healthcare Group Plc, an AIM listed leading healthcare technology company helping to streamline the delivery of care. The Group has three apps for healthcare professionals, Induction Switch, MicroGuide and Zesty.

Induction Switch is the Group's proprietary mobile app, providing healthcare professionals with the tools for getting quick access to essential hospital information, such as guidelines and extension numbers, as well as enabling direct and time-saving communication between them, in a secure and regulatory compliant setting.

MicroGuide is the UK market leader in digital clinical guidance. The app provides medical organisations with functionality to create, edit, and publish their own local medical guidelines in a secure and locally administrated environment. Induction Healthcare acquired Horizon Strategic Partners Limited and its MicroGuide app on 6 November 2019.

Zesty Limited is our latest acquisition which was announced 8th June 2020. The Zesty Enterprise app is a patient portal for hospitals in the UK and a powerful data integration platform, allowing third party application to read and write data to hospital electronic health record (EHR) systems. Zesty Enterprise clients are Acute hospitals, some of whom also provide community services

Today such hospitals and clinics use expensive, fragmented healthcare IT to deliver these capabilities, but Induction believes it can circumvent these systems by going straight to their users and in so doing provide the global, standardised cloud-based healthcare IT systems that many governments have been seeking for decades.

Our strategy is simple: buying and building out an ecosystem of products that healthcare stakeholders choose to use so people get better care and ensuring that these tools:

provide a consistent, intuitive user experience,

are seamlessly interoperable within the Induction Healthcare ecosystem,

allow stakeholders to connect with each other across roles and organisations - irrespective of the underlying IT systems enabled at such institutions, and

add value to existing organization investments in IT infrastructure and EHR systems.

Our aim is to work with Healthcare Institutions to create value by removing frictions for end users, delivering organisational cost benfits, and enhancing existing health IT spend;

• Induction Switch and MicroGuide apps are some of the most used in UK healthcare, chosen daily by over 170,000 registered users, majority doctors in multiple territories including the majority of hospital trusts within the NHS.
• Zesty app is a rapidly growing base of over 100,000 patients.
• Our HealthStream integration engine supercharges our tools, providing doctors and patients real time access to a growing list of EHR and PAS systems.

The Position

Role title: Financial Accountant

Location: London (20 St Dunstan's Hill, EC3R 8ND)

Reporting to: Financial Controller

We are looking for a Financial Accountant who has drive, initiative and passion, and wants to be part of a start-up healthtech company. This is a rare opportunity to add value and set up the finance team and platform from the beginning. It is a broad role, giving you exposure to many areas of the business, so your development and career will accelerate quicker than going straight into a large corporate environment. Our aim is to "buy and build" and fast-track the growth of the business. Within 18 months, Induction has listed on the London Stock Market and completed three acquisitons. This is an unique role where you can get involved in the day to day operations of finance and also commercially, supporting M&A deals and integrations of businesses.

Roles and Responsibilties

• Prepare and manage day to day financial operations in particular purchase to pay process and sales invoices.
• Assist the Financial Controller with month end and year end process and reporting
• Ensure accuracy of data maintained in Xero (accounting system), especially with regards to suppliers and customers.
• Support with year end and audit & preparation of documentation, including technical accounting considerations
• Assist on cash flow management
• Ensure regular and accurate information on financial performance for internal and external reporting
• Assist in designing and documenting robust policies and procedures for internal control and risk management
• Maintain appropriate internal financial controls and risk management processes across all Group operations
• Support on HR and legal matters, i.e. preparing employee contracts, management of sick days and holidays.
• As required any ad hoc and administrative matters due to the nature of a start-up company

Qualifications & Experience

• University degree and relevant professional qualification (i.e. ACA, ACMA)
• Preferred experience in AIM listed company and/or Healthcare/Tech industry
• Experience of working in a lean, fast paced and rapidly changing environment.
• Start-up experience would be desirable and a hands-on and "can do" attitude a prerequisite.
• Big 4 experience desired
• Strong technical accounting skills
• Strong financial modelling skills
