You will be joining a growing organisation based close to Weybridge, Surrey as part of the senior team as a Financial Controller and heading up the day to day finances of the business.
Your new role
This exciting new job opportunity takes responsibility for managing and developing a small team of accountants and overseeing all aspects of the finance department on a day to day basis. This will involve business partnering closely with the MD, Head of Operations and Board Directors as well as overseeing all aspects of statutory reporting, monthly performance reporting to the group, cashflow management, balance sheet and medium/long term budgeting and forecasting. This is a rare opportunity that combines an "SME" feel in a hands on capacity whilst being part of a well established group.
What you'll need to succeed
In addition to your accounting qualification (ACA/ACCA) and strong technical bias, a flexible, proactive style is essential as well as the ability to business partner effectively across Operations, Exec and Finance. A hands on approach is also key as the business continues its rapid growth path. A background within financial services would be highly advantageous.
