Payroll Manager with ADP and retail experience
Accountancy
£40000 - £45000 per annum
*Processing end to end payroll on ADP Freedom for c1500 UK and Ireland employees
*Dealing with vast array of payroll queries
*Manage in-house collection of payroll data and interface with external payroll bureau for UK & Ireland
*Be the first point of contact for all employees with any payroll related queries.
*Critically review and analyse current payroll, benefits and tax procedures in order to recommend and implement changes leading to best-practice operations.
*Ensure accuracy of payments to employees for wages and salaries
*Adjusting pay rates, when current employees are promoted, transferred or terminated
*Enter Head Office Payroll New starters/changes/leavers onto ADP Freedom system in an accurate manner to ensure all pay data is accurate.
*Personally process monthly pay checks for all members of staff.
*Audit payroll balance sheets, YTD earnings, etc
*Pension auto enrolment scheme, running reports where needed
*Developing effective working relationship with Retail and Head Office managers.
*Chase stores for new starter paperwork and ensure all necessary paperwork is received by HR Department in time for payroll cut-off.
*Update and maintain SAP HR system as and when required.
*Keep payroll knowledge up to date e.g. HMRC requirements/guidelines
*Work closely with HR Administrator to ensure all employee data received in HR office is not only processed on payroll system but is forwarded on for the issuing of contracts, offer letters etc
*Communicate actively with Retail Operations, HR and Finance to review cross-departmental impacts and reconcile data sharing.
*Managing and ensuring bonuses are paid for any applicable employees
*Being the key contact with external benefits advisor in relation to Pension and Private Healthcare schemes and ensure the correct payments (if applicable) are processed through payroll.
*Work together with Head of HR to develop and implement changes to payroll procedures that may benefit the entire company as and when required
*Any other ad hoc duties.
The successful candidate must:
*Be available to start immediately
*Have start to end payroll experience
*A minimum of 3 years experience
*ADP Freedom experience
