Job scope/summary:
Head of accounting is responsible for the efficient and effective functioning of the day-to-day accounting operations of the company, monthly/quarterly closing of Corporate books and annual statutory reporting, full compliance with the applicable legislation - tax, accounting, etc.

Job scope/summary:
Head of accounting is responsible for the efficient and effective functioning of the day-to-day accounting operations of the company, monthly/quarterly closing of Corporate books and annual statutory reporting, full compliance with the applicable legislation - tax, accounting, etc.
Job Responsibilities:
- Ensure the timely and accurate maintenance of the financial books and records of the Company for Corporate and for Statutory purposes, in compliance with the applicable accounting standards - US GAAP for corporate reporting purposes and IFRS for statutory reporting purposes.
- Supervise Accounting staff to ensure:
- effective and timely production of all reports, statements, memorandum and any and all other documentation on behalf of Company on or before the deadlines set therefore;
- the financial integrity of Company's books and records relating to the firm's activity;
- timely and accurate processing of cash management, accounts payable and accounts receivable;
- proper handling of all tax matters and timely filing of all tax return related to Company.
- Interact with External Auditors to ensure timely and flawless completion of the audit of annual financial statements.
- Interact with Tax Auditors to ensure timely and flawless completion of any tax audits that might be assigned.
- Provide advice and support to BUs/Global Functions on accounting/tax related matters.
Key deliverables/ accountabilities:
- Timely and accurate completion of MEC/QEC
- Timely and accurate submission of applicable statutory reports/filings.
- Efficient utilization of the available accounting resources

Education (degree) and professional experience required:
- Bachelor/Master degree in Accounting/Finance
- Professional experience: over 3 year professional experience as Head of accounting
Personal and Technical skills and qualities:
- Experience with ERP systems
- Business acumen
- Planning, communication and change management skills
- Leadership, people management and influencing skills
- Negotiation experience with internal stakeholders and customers
Other requirements:
- Fluent in English language
