I am currently looking to recruit a Rebate Accountant to be responsible for the control and operation of the monthly accrual for supplier rebate income across a FTSE 250, leading UK business. The business is based in Sheffield, however they can offering working from home.

Description
Responsibilities include:
- The accurate recognition of Rebates
- Produce a monthly full reconciliation of internal rebate accrual vs rebate tracker
- Ensuring robust processes for accruing and releasing rebates
- Ensuring the timely collection of receipts
- Making payments
- Supporting internal and external audit
- Identify opportunities to maximise rebate earnings potential
Profile
You will:
- Hold a recognised accountancy qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA)
- Have a strong technical background
- Have an understanding of how supplier rebates work
- Good attention to detail
- Have strong communication skills and the ability to work with non-financial stakeholders across the business
- Be a self-starter
- Experience of working with rebate management software will be advantageous
Job Offer
Salary £45-55,000 (doe) plus benefits
