Corporate Banking

The Opportunity

Bank of Ireland Corporate Banking is the number one Corporate Bank in Ireland. Our existing client base in Ireland ranges from large public bodies and major privately owned domestic companies to multinationals and publicly quoted companies. Our teams are located in Dublin, Belfast, London, Paris, Frankfurt, Chicago and Stamford, Connecticut. Customer Relationships are our key priority and our highly skilled employees speak for and negotiate on behalf of Bank of Ireland Corporate Banking, drawing from the skills and expertise residing across our Group.

What you can expect in return

As a graduate in Corporate Banking, you'll spend time as a Management Associate working closely with Senior Corporate Banking managers, supporting them in the management of a portfolio of domestic and international clients. You'll get the opportunity to attend client meetings and assist in the preparation of credit papers for business propositions. You will also have the opportunity to work in some of the support areas in Corporate Banking such as Marketing, Foreign Direct Invest, Customer Relationship Manager and Credit Support. You'll also develop your knowledge of the Bank's core product offerings to meet customer needs.

The Opportunity

We are the leading provider of Treasury products across the business spectrum, from the large multi-national to the expanding entrepreneur.With a full dealing capacity out of Dublin, London, Belfast and Stamford, Connecticut; our Treasury business has responsibility for all market risk in Foreign Exchange, Money Markets, Bonds and Derivatives and is responsible for the execution of the wholesale funding of Bank of Ireland's balance sheet. Our highly successful Global Customer Group provides structured products, FX and Interest Rate product and payment solutions to the Bank's extensive corporate and institutional customer base in Ireland, the UK and the US and our bank and country risk unit evaluates and recommends limits for our Global trading partners and assesses and manages country risk for BOI Group.

What you can expect in return

We are looking for energetic and pro-active graduates who are keen to become part of our successful team and who wish to build a career as a Treasury Specialist. Your experience as a graduate in Global Markets will be focussed on developing a good understanding of our core products and services from managing interest rates, foreign exchange exposures, credit and country risk, as well as developing the necessary relationship management skills to engage professionally with our internal and external stakeholders.
