An exciting opportunity exists for a Manager of Internal Audit to join this dynamic leading manufacturing concern and listed entity, with operations in over 40 countries.
Be responsible for all internal audit activities within the company, setting and executing the annual internal audit plan and advise management and the Board on compliance with laws and regulations on a global basis.
Key Requirements:
- To plan and perform Internal Audit
- Lead, plan and manage internal audit team worldwide, encompassing financial matters, and other auditing initiatives
- Manage a complex portfolio of audit projects and activities
- Lead the development and execution of annual risk assessments and audit plans
- Coordinate and administer assignments, monitor audit team progress, and manage budgets and schedules
- Establish audit approach, policies and procedures in line with regulatory and external audit requirements
- Guide internal audit staff and facilitate consistent, high quality outcomes and deliverables
- Define audit procedures, identify and define issues, develop criteria, review and analyze evidence, and document processes, procedures, and recommendations using independent judgment
- Review, finalize and deliver audit reports; communicate audit findings and develop recommendations
- Investigate and resolve compliance problems, questions or complaints received internally and externally
- Drive investigations
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree and CPA or other professional designation required
- Minimum 15 years' experience, including significant audit and SOX experience
- Experience in a complex, multidivisional, multinational company
- Proven ability to lead a team and influence leaders across functions and businesses
- High ethical standards, expert judgment, and strong business acumen to lead to sound, timely and thorough results and recommendations
- Excellent oral and written communication skills. Strong presentation skills
- Experience communicating at the board level preferred
- Strong analytical, organizational and problem solving skills
- Some travel globally
