Tracking, control and reporting of financial exposure on all New Build Development projects and selected other projects to minimise cost and maintain top quality delivery.

Description

Deliver capital cost models for major (over £1M) existing and New Build Development (NBD) projects and work alongside senior functional leaders to ensure costs are completed and robust.

Produce Capex sections for all NBD board papers and take ownership of the board paper process for projects within the allotted region.

Work alongside the Management Team to benchmark project build costs and ensure they are kept as low as possible while maintaining top quality. Support the management team on all financial aspects of major projects including budgets, cost tracking and forecasts.

Accurately track, control and report financial exposure on all NBD and other selected projects to identify potential risk areas and highlight them to key stakeholders at the earliest opportunity.

Actively manage the companies balance sheet position, working with the Financial Controller to ensure that NBD risk is minimised.

Undertake accurate project and corporate summary reports.

Profile

Strong communication skills with the ability to communicate with all levels, including non-financial decision makers and Senior Management.

Qualified Accountant with strong technical skills, including up to date knowledge of IFRS and expertise in financial analysis.

Ability to manage own workload and prioritise multiple projects at different stages with significant numbers of stakeholders.

Capable of being the lead on NBD and performing technical due diligence - eg local tax, treasury, accounting and other considerations.

Proven management experience.

Advanced Excel skills and an aptitude for learning systems quickly.
