About the Role
The Private Banker is the primary relationship custodian with the firm's most valuable families and leads the provision of holistic private banking services (banking, lending, risk, investments, advice, family office) with engagement from specialised professionals across investments and advice. The successful appointee will bring a collegiate and collaborative working style coupled with a natural disposition toward originating new business via referral networks.

Duties
  • Undertake quality consultative conversations with clients to understand their needs and provide strategic holistic advice to HNW/UHNW Family Office clients.
  • Grow new client acquisition utilizing referral networks (lawyers, accountants, associations, etc.)
  • Assist clients with often complex decisions around the best way to protect and grow their wealth, structure their investments and balance competing business or wealth demands.
  • Strong commercial acumen and an ability to build long term relationships with referral partners and clients.

Skills & Experience
  • Successful and proven track record in a private banking or private wealth appointment with an extensive understanding of the needs of HNW/UHNW Family Office clients and tailoring holistic solutions across banking, risk, investments.
  • Exceptional communication skilss and ability to build longlasting client relationships.
  • Diploma of Financial Planning (DFP) is preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to originate new HNW/UHNW client relationships via referrer networks (e.g. brokers, lawyers, accountants, etc.)
  • Collegiate and collaborative team player with natural energy and drive.
