Forensic Data Analytics Manager - Life Sciences / Conduct Risk, London

EY's Forensic Data Analytics (FDA) team is a global, data-focused unit within the Forensic and Integrity Services department. Our team supports clients in dealing with the complex issues of fraud, regulatory compliance and business disputes.

The FDA team practice the full life cycle of data analysis from the early stages of data discovery and capture, to its management, analysis and reporting. Our work typically requires working with large datasets from disparate sources to support investigations, disputes and proactive risk detection. Our projects primarily involve FTSE100 clients covering a wide range of industries e.g.: Financial services, Life sciences, Oil & Gas and Government.

What you will do:
  • Work with blue chip clients, fraud investigators, internal and external auditors, lawyers and regulatory authorities
  • Communicate with clients to scope projects and gather requirements
  • Work with EY's data analysts and forensic investigators to design data-driven solutions for clients
  • Highlight and explain the outputs of our analytics to clients in the context of their business
  • Oversee project delivery
  • Maintain knowledge of industry developments and regulatory changes within the Life Sciences industry
  • Align to various strategic teams in the areas of technology, innovation and business development
  • Actively contribute to improving operational efficiency on projects and internal initiatives, consistently driving projects to completion
  • Establish, maintain and strengthen internal and external networks
  • Support business development activities such as the pursuit of new commercial opportunities or developing materials for client presentations and pitches, etc.
Requirements:

  • Experience working in the Life Sciences industry, with a strong understanding of the associated compliance risks
  • Strong awareness of technology, data analytics and statistics
  • Ability to communicate business requirements to technical teams and the output of technical work to non-technical stakeholders
  • Experience with stakeholder management and confidence with client interactions
  • Project management skills
  • Domain knowledge of accounting, fraud, bribery and corruption
  • Ability to work independently and supervise team members
Desired attributes:
  • Previous consulting experience or experience working with the compliance, internal audit or investigations functions of multinational life sciences companies
  • Domain knowledge of accounting, fraud, bribery and corruption or sector specific knowledge or experience
  • Intellectually rigorous, with strong analytical skills and a passion for data
  • Tenacious and curious, with a desire to 'get to the bottom' of things
  • Organisational skills and project management;
  • Adaptable and able to build strong relationships
  • Seeking high levels of responsibility
