Senior Payroll Clerk

Page Personnel have an excellent opportunity available for a Senior Payroll Clerk to start a temporary to permanent contract, at a growing business in Central Manchester. The role is for 36.25 hours per week and paying up to £24,000 with ideally an immediate start.

Description

As a Senior Payroll Clerk, you will be reporting to and offering day-to-day support, to the Payroll Supervisor. Duties will include but are not limited to:

- Payroll implementation

- Processing large and complex payrolls

- Identify and escalate potential payroll issues to the Supervisor

- Problem solve complex queries

- Identify billing and cross-selling opportunities

- Support the team with continuous improvement

- Build and maintain good working relationships with clients

- Support with training of new team members

Profile

To be considered for this role, you must:

- Be immediately available for work- Essential

- Have previous experience within a similar role- Essential

- Have good working knowledge of payroll systems and payroll legislation- Essential

- Have previous experience with staff management or supervisory of staff- Desirable

Job Offer

£22,000-£24,000 + immediate start + city centre location + close to public transport links + temporary to permanent contract
