The opportunity

We are looking for a Manager within the Advisory team (Supply Chain & Operations) in our Sydney or Brisbane office. This role is offered on a flexible full time basis.

Your key responsibilities
  • Working on relevant engagements in consulting in the Clinical/ Healthcare sector
  • Leading engagements that include delivering the breadth of health advisory offerings including performance improvement and cost reduction, health system redesigns, health service integration and reconfiguration etc.
  • Playing a key role in building a team/ nurturing the development of the team including new starts, return to work and those facing adversity or previous performance related issues.
Skills and attributes for success
  • Extensive experience in a consulting environment
  • Direct experience gained from working in the Supply Chain function in the Healthcare sector
  • Procurement experience working within a complex environment of a large organization that goes beyond solely transactional work
  • Exposure to operational transformation with the ability to identify how and where to improve a client's processes and output.
Ideally, you'll also have
  • Consulting Skills - understanding the business, with the ability to probe and understand strategic business needs and priorities and the ability to translate these into solutions in line with key priorities
  • Relationship Management - ability to build strong global and regional stakeholder relationships;
  • Influencing Skills - ability to communicate and influence across all levels and challenge thinking constructively. Demonstrated ability to lead and facilitate discussions and meetings with stakeholders;
  • Passion for process improvement / delivering results ('Building a better working world')
