Would you like to work alongside some of Australia's most respected and experienced Research and Development Tax professionals?

In this role, you'll be joining a nationally supported team of innovative thinkers, who strive to provide our clients with the best quality advice to lower the cost of innovation, as well as helping clients to obtain government funding to progress capital projects.

If you are passionate about technology development and enabling clients to build and grow their businesses, consider applying for a position with our team. We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Senior Analyst to join our R&D and Government Incentives Tax team in Adelaide. We engage with our clients on subjects as diverse as technology development, business operations, financial & tax queries, as well as investment & development strategies, to help them shape and fund their innovation & investment programs.

What will your typical day look like?
As a Senior Analyst you will be responsible for providing quality services to our clients, including:

•Interviewing client staff to understand client technologies, and advise them on activities that are eligible for the R&D tax incentive and government grants.
•Working in a team environment to prepare R&D tax incentive claims and different types of grant applications
•Short periods of interstate travel to provide services at client sites (predominantly in Tasmania and the Norther Territory)
•Building strong client relationships, technical skills and client service skills to enable you to manage client assignments independently.
•Assisting with marketing activities that build our practice

You will also be responsible for:
•Managing the administrative aspects of engagements in a commercial & proactive manner, including assisting with proposals, budgeting, billing and controlling of work in progress
•Maintaining and taking ownership of quality control on assignments and projects
•Working collaboratively in a team with a broad range of backgrounds within science, technology, software development, engineering, business and law
•Contributing to the development of new digital solutions to enhance the delivery of innovative tax advisory services

About our team
Our team uses its specialised knowledge to work across a range of industry sectors, supporting clients conducting R&D activities to provide insights regarding strategies to reduce the cost of their innovation activities, while providing insights from both a technology and corporate perspective.

We also assist clients to prepare high quality proposals for grant funding, in a manner that maximises their funding opportunities, and allows them to progress economically important capital projects.

Enough about us, let's talk about you.
This a fantastic opportunity to join this high performing and growing team, applying your specialist technical, science based, software development, or engineering knowledge to consult to a range of companies, from start-ups through to some of the world's largest multinational businesses.

We are keen to speak with individuals from a variety of backgrounds; whether working as an engineer in industry or engaged in university/scientific research, your technical passion and knowledge will be a key attribute in this role. You will also have an interest in learning and starting your career with respect to R&D Tax and other government incentives, economic policy and / or investment strategy development.

Experience with R&D tax incentive and government incentive applications will be viewed favourably, but is not an essential requirement for the role, as training will be provided to high quality candidates without industry experience.
