We believe teamwork beats individual brilliance every time. Deloitte's differentiation rests on the diverse capabilities of our people, and we encourage focus on the "we" rather than the "I".

About our Team

Have you gained experience in regulatory compliance, conduct or risk management, which you are keen to use across a diverse range of clients and projects?

Our Governance, Regulation and Conduct (GRC) Advisory team forms part of our Assurance & Advisory Group. GRC focus is consulting on governance, regulatory compliance, and retail conduct matters predominately within Wealth Management, Banking, Superannuation and Insurance industries.

As the GRC Advisory business expands we are keen to speak with Analyst & Senior Analyst level candidates who are keen to utilise their experience in a diverse and challenging role. Our work with clients is from a number of perspectives: we help them to "look backwards", identify past problems, and accelerate their remediation activities. We also help clients to strengthen their business models by "looking forward" to minimise the risk of conduct vulnerabilities by helping review, redesign and strengthen existing processes and frameworks to deliver fair and suitable outcomes.

To be successful in this role you will have:

  • Industry, risk & compliance, legal, audit, or previous international consulting experience related to financial services or non-financial services
  • A focus on delivering innovative solutions, excellent client service, strong management, interpersonal and leadership skills
  • The ability to understand complex issues and escalate where required to senior team members and partners.
  • An ability to work within budgets and time constraints

This role supports Partners and Directors in designing conduct and regulatory compliance frameworks, strengthening corporate governance, managing remediation activities, and responding to the requirements of key regulatory bodies. In providing services to our clients you will work collaboratively within teams to solve problems and deliver tailored "and Different" solutions.

Experience in the following areas will ensure your success in this role:

  • Commerce/Finance/ legal degree/background
  • Previous experience (ideally 1 - 4 years) in consulting or similar advisory services
  • Strong PowerPoint and presentation skills
  • Energy and a desire to have fun whilst making an impact

At Deloitte, we are innovative and different because YOU are... we pride ourselves on our team of diverse, high performing professionals who are talented, supportive, inclusive and social - and who are at the heart of our success. Our aim at Deloitte is to ensure that all our people feel comfortable to bring their whole selves to work, and as a result, create a workplace that encourages the true spirit of 'And different'.

From day one at our firm you'll be considered part of the Deloitte community and our development and career progression framework will help you develop the skills and capabilities you need to succeed - in every sense of the word. At Deloitte, we assume that you perform other roles within your life.... you could be a student, a teacher, a passionate hobbyist and a caring family member. We recognise the importance of balance and embrace agility, understanding that this means different things to each and every one of our employees.
