The opportunity

This is an exciting opportunity to be a part of growing the People Advisory Services (PAS) practice in the Northern Territory and a chance to be involved in diverse work, including some cross-service line opportunities. You will be working within a small local team who value and are committed to high performance (12 people in whole office currently). As a result, you will get the development opportunities that you can't often get in a bigger office.

The business opportunities in the Northern Territory are expanding at the moment, and PAS is a key component of much of the work out of Darwin office. More broadly the Northern Territory is currently delivering a large, focused growth strategy centred on attracting people and talent to the Territory, and encouraging those already there to stay for the long term. Your key responsibilities

• Work on challenging projects across a diverse range of issues including strategic workforce planning and analytics, organisational change management, design and implementation of large scale HR transformation and human-centred design, and/or talent management and capability development;
• Create innovative insights for clients, adapting methods and practices to fit project needs;
• Use your knowledge and experience to shape our services to meet client problems.
  
• Build client networks and relationships.

Skills and attributes for success

• 3-6 years' experience in the people-related aspects of large scale organisational change and transformation, talent and leadership or workforce strategy and analytics;
• A relevant Degree in Business/Commerce, HR or Organisational Psychology;
• Proven ability to apply core consulting and project management skills in client engagement settings.
  

Ideally, you'll also have

• Curiosity and desire to challenge the status quo;
  
• Proven and proactive business development skills; and
• Experience in a consulting environment highly desirable.
