Join PwC's Adelaide OneAssurance team as a Consultant, focusing on internal and financial assurance, and work as part of a fast paced and forward thinking team. Work daily to enhance financial performance and operations for some of the world's biggest organisations, across government, financial services, EUM, and education.

The Opportunity

At PwC, we help Australian businesses, not-for-profits and governments create value and improve the way they work. From improving healthcare, to creating smarter cities and igniting Australia's start up industry, you'll build trust in society and solve important problems.

The Adelaide OneAssurance team bring this to life by providing assurance on the financial performance and operations of our clients, helping our clients identify and manage risks throughout their entire business, integrating with other teams in the business to use new technologies for our clients to also better understand their data.

As a Consultant, your impact will be seen by building client relationships and identifying priority areas of risk and process improvement by understanding the organisation's financials, objectives, risks, control framework and regulatory environment.

Success does stem from a positive attitude, hard work and going the extra mile, but that's not all!

You will:
  • Execute internal audit projects including documentation, identifying controls and performing tests for effectiveness and efficiency
  • Execute external audits and statutory reporting for large proprietary and listed organizations
  • Liaise with clients and identify future opportunities
  • Work with other teams to collaborate and develop Financial Audit strategies and methodologies for our clients
  • Analysis and documentation of internal controls and control environments
  • Work closely with the lead senior and manager on the engagement identifying potential problem areas or budget difficulties
  • Coach and mentor junior colleagues and build internal relationships
About you

The brief is simple...

You have a solid background in internal or external audit and are capable of working both autonomously and as part of a team to deliver the best standard to our clients. You're passionate about the future of Audit and solving important problems. You thrive in a collaborative and innovative culture and want to join a firm that values problem solvers, the kind of people who reimagine the possible for their clients and key stakeholders.

We'd also like to hear from you if you are a new graduate with transferable experience and ideally an educational background in science, technology, engineering or maths.

Your colleagues can vouch that you:
  • Have approximately 1-3 years of experience in an internal or external audit role
  • Act with integrity and show care for the people you work with
  • Demonstrate an ability to effectively communicate with a broad range of clients
  • Drive to develop professionally and build long term relationships
