Group Regulatory Reporting Scrum Master, EFS Project - 12-Month Max Term Contract

As a Scrum Master within the Financial Management Group in our Project Management team working with the Group Regulatory Reporting Finance team, you will have demonstrated experience in project delivery for regulatory change projects in an Agile work environment working across multiple functions. You will be able to bring confidence in working across various business groups and functional teams in multiple geographic locations.

Your key areas of responsibility will include leveraging your business transformation background to deliver real business change, facilitating daily Scrums, Sprint planning, backlog refinement/prioritisation, demonstrations and retrospective meetings.

You will resolve conflicts, issues and actions and be involved in tracking and removal of impediments to progress as well as enable the team to estimate, plan and forecast deliverables. You will be involved with coaching and teaching team members on Agile concepts and practices as well as creating a culture of continuous team improvement and proactively communicating and escalating issues and risks.

You will have a Finance or Regulatory Reporting background with a genuine interest in the Finance function, IC Agile, Scrum Alliance and Scrum.org accreditations and experience with common Agile work management tools including Jira. Your extensive experience across varied projects within financial services and demonstratable knowledge, understanding and experience in Agile and related frameworks such as Scrum, Kanban and XP will demonstrate your abilities to perform in this role. You will have a strong knowledge of Scrum theory, rules and practices and extensive experience leading iterative Agile teams across multiple functions within a project environment. An understanding of core fundamentals of iterative and incremental software development, business process changes and data processes and procedures is required. A flexible, proactive and solution-minded approach to problem solving and a "can-do" attitude with proven success guiding teams in delivering project outcomes is necessary to deliver in this project team.
