Objective The Manager is expected to drive regional sales and brand affinity in all markets through development, implementation and measurement of relevant and cost-effective Marketing initiatives developed in response to existing and expected market conditions. These initiatives are expected to be based on appropriate market data and deployed in a manner that allows for consistent measurement and highly-responsive remedial actions when necessary. Key Accountabilities Business development/Revenue Generation: Develops strategies, implements activities and measures effectiveness of regional marketing initiatives designed to drive revenues while maintaining all relevant efficiency ratios Manage expenses within approved budgets Internal Operations: Establishes and implements advertising, sponsorship and branding objectives and initiatives that are aligned to the overall strategic plan to ensure market share growth and top of mind brand awareness Develops and manages the annual marketing based on planned and approved activities Develops the marketing messages and advertising strategy for each market and business segment as needed, using the most appropriate marketing channels Provides creative direction for advertising in each market, considering cultural nuances and ensuring preservation of the brand image Responsible for development and approval of the company's social media strategy and ensures effective performance of Digital support providers. Monitors digital programs and assesses the effectiveness of the marketing strategy in delivering on the company's objectives in a timely manner and recommending meaningful alternatives when proposed strategies do not deliver End-to-end management of the digital marketing programs Works closely with Insurance Operations to develop and optimize the sales strategy Performs continuous data analysis to identify emerging trends and propose effective and timely solutions to developing market conditions that can affect sales Conducts market research surveys to evaluate, improve and maintain the relevance of the brand, pricing and products. Provides reports and recommendations on same. Coordinates and compiles the Annual report Responsible for Sponsorship and CSR program development, execution and evaluation of effectiveness Ensures that Marketing, Sponsorship and CSR programs are aligned to achieving overall growth of and affinity to the brand and sub-brands, consistent brand presentation and messaging and preserve the integrity of the brand across any and all public messaging on behalf of the company Works with Customer Experience Manager to ensure that Customer Experience programs and promotions are aligned with achieving overall growth of and affinity to the brand and sub-brands, consistent brand presentation and messaging and preserve the integrity of the brand across any and all public messaging on behalf of the company Provides support to other divisions as necessary in achieving their marketing and sales objectives and also to manage and maintain brand consistency Ensures that the Division head is kept updated and informed of all relevant decisions and information Customer Service and Satisfaction Ensure that internal customers are kept apprised of ongoing projects Employee Development Ensure staff is managed within corporate guidelines and brand philosophies Qualifications First degree in Marketing or related discipline Master's degree in Business/Marketing would be an asset Equivalent and relevant work experience in lieu of Master's degree only At least 8 years' experience in a similar position at least two of which included managing people Knowledge, Skills and Abilities The incumbent must competent in the following areas: Knowledge Principles of Marketing and Branding Social media content marketing and reporting Understanding of MCCM tools Basic principles of Digital marketing Strategic planning capability Experience in local and regional markets Experience with managing multiple service providers Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel Data collection and analysis Skills : Strong project management and organizational skills Excellent interpersonal and team building skills Strong analytical and problem-solving ability Excellent verbal and written communication skills Strong multi-tasker Process oriented Observes/high attention to detail
