Assistant Accountant

We are seeking a self-motivated, enthusiastic and forward-thinking Assistant Accountant to join our well-established Finance team at a Best Companies recognised employer.

This is a newly created role for the department, presenting a great opportunity for an individual to work closely with the Financial Accountant and to take ownership of key tasks.

Here are the top 5 key requirements of the role:

• Assist with preparation of consolidated monthly management accounts
• Preparing and posting accruals, prepayments and journals
• Monthly balance sheet reconciliations
• Assist Financial Accountant with developing systems and processes across the business
• Internal Reporting, such as producing Weekly Sales, Weekly Operations Pack & GM Analysis at platform level

With ambitious growth plans, we are looking for individuals who are able to see the bigger picture, understand customer requirements and help us drive success. Successful candidates will have high accuracy and attention to detail, with an eye for process improvements, thrive in a pressured environment and possess advanced excel skills. This role would suit a candidate with some experience within a similar role and are either CIMA / ACCA part qualified.

Plenty of in-house training will be offered. A desire to forge a career in finance is essential and must be demonstrable to progress within our recruitment process.
