Financial Controller

岗位职责:Tasks of the position - brief description: Responsible for implementation and execution of financial processes and controls in the newly acquired Global Animal Heatlh Manufacturing plant in China. Ensures financial accounts are maintained in line with statutory requirements and US-GAAP by applying appropriate accounting policies and procedures and oversees maintenance of supporting documentation. Ensures effective financial control environment by understanding, monitoring and executing on local control procedures and that all key controls as defined in the global and local Control Standards are properly executed and documented. Manage tax risk exposure of the company and tax planning. Interacts and coordinates with internal and external stakeholders including government agencies, tax authorities and auditorsLine Manager: Finance Director, Fin. •Implement and execute strong compliant and controlled financial accounting processes for the entity: including but not limited to accounting, cash management and fixed assets management. oImplement MSD accounting processes and controlsoOversees and manages General Ledger and month end close activities to ensure that financial statements are in accordance with US GAAP and local statutory requirementsoEnsure all transactions are properly approved and documented in line with corporate policies and proceduresoWork closely with Treasury team to manage cashflow for the entityoPrepares tax returns for accuracy and completeness and ensure timely submissionoEnsures all accounts are reconciled in a timely manner, balances are accurate and transactions correctly bookedoEnsures fixed assets are recognized timely and accuratelyoManages financial Accounting Master Data in line with corporate policies and procedures oEducates local organization on MSD standard processes as they relate to Accounting topics (eg StS, PtP processes)oManages and provides guidance on grants of authorities (GOAs) to local organizationoTax planning and tax risk management. Interacts and coordinates with internal and external auditors and manages Tax auditsoInteracts with local government agencies where necessary
•Be involved in any policy, process, practice or system harmonization.
•Identifies and interprets policies, and standards, and their impact on business transactions and resolves accounting issues, seeking counsel when necessary

•Experience in manufacturing environment is preferred
•Experience in leading and coordinating teams
•Experience in system implementation is an advantage
•SAP knowledge (Finance modules) and Microsoft Office
•Familiar with US GAAP and PRC GAAP
•Familiar with local tax regulations
•Fluency in written and spoken English and Mandarin
•Minimum of 6 years of relevant experience in multinational Companies or accounting firms, big 4 experience is a plus
•University Degree and/or Qualified Accountant CertificationTravel required15%
