Transaction Tax Manager / Senior Manager

Responsibilities

- Perform tax due diligence on transactions and advise on investment structuring for both private equity and corporate clients
- Advise on tax issues associated with pre- and post-acquisition, pre-IPO restructuring
- Working closely with internal and external clients on cross-border / M&A transactions, international tax advisory engagements, tax structuring and ad hoc projects
- Experience in dealing with private equity clients on fund establishment and M&A tax issues
- Fund Tax and transaction tax structuring, negotiation of local financial subsidies, general partner due diligence
- Undertake business development activities and market tax services to clients and non-clients
- Provide coaching and training to junior team members

Experience

- Experience in M&A tax, international tax and industry experience (for example sector specific experience) would be advantageous
- A proven history of developing business, client servicing and acting autonomously
- Strong written and communication skills with the ability to communicate clearly and work with all levels of management
- Excellent project management skills with the ability to work effectively under time critical deadlines
- Excellent organization, analytical and problem-solving skills
- A proven history of managing and developing others, developing business and acting autonomously
- Experience working on M&A transactions or cross-border transactions or in international tax
- Diligent and a good team player
