Manager/Senior Manager, Liquidity Reporting - 15-Month Maternity Leave Cover Contract

Join our Group Regulatory Reporting team in Martin Place and contribute to the success of a high performing Liquidity reporting team. Your demonstrated success in a role within financial institutions in a Regulatory Reporting team with direct exposure to liquidity reporting will adequately prepare you for the role in this team. You will be responsible for managing Liquidity reporting to APRA and provide subject matter expertise on liquidity reporting for internal stakeholders and management including working on major change initiatives.

As a Manager or Senior Manager in the team, you will have diverse responsibilities including exposure to a broad range of internal and external stakeholders while challenging yourself on a daily basis and expanding your skill set in a team that supports flexible working arrangements to suit your needs outside of work. You will be responsible for delivering liquidity reporting to APRA, and analysis to internal stakeholders including Senior Management on liquidity related matters.

Senior level stakeholder engagement and relationship building is a key part of this role. You will responsibilities which include managing the preparation of daily/quarterly liquidity reports, analysis of liquidity related issues or queries from regulators or from internal stakeholders. You will provide decision support to a broad range of internal customers on liquidity related matters, lead change initiatives related to strengthening our reporting processes and control environment and be a subject matter expert on regulatory or internal changes that will have an impact on liquidity reporting.

You will bring knowledge of, and a genuine interest in liquidity reporting and analysis, and be highly motivated and organised with strong interpersonal skills. An Accounting or Finance degree (or similar) as well as being a Chartered Accountant (or equivalent) with at least 5+ years' post qualified experience is a requirement. Demonstrated experience in financial services or investment banking with previous exposure to Liquidity Reporting is required to be considered for this opportunity. Experience managing and overseeing work from other members of the team will also be required. You will have excellent verbal and written communication skills across a variety of different audiences and be comfortable with adapting to change regularly.
