A successful, well established and highly regarded, accountancy practice, based near Canterbury is searching for a Payroll Manager to manage the delivery of payroll services to the firms varied client base, in a key role within the firm, offering progression and development potential.

Client Details

A reputable firm of chartered accountants, based near Canterbury. The firm services clients very wide ranging in size, industry and sector and you will therefore get exposure to a wide variety of client type and scope.

Description

Joining as Payroll Manager based in the firms offices near Canterbury, you will be responsible for the delivery of payroll services (weekly / monthly ) to a significant number of client payrolls across the firm in total, deal with queries and advice clients on technical issues, pensions, auto enrolment and assist with new client payroll implementations.


You will undertake processing and act as initial point of contact for these clients and develop relationships, processing weekly, fortnightly, monthly payrolls for wide ranging clients in size and complexity
You will carve a pivotal role within the firms payroll department and progress in your career, with increasing responsibility. The opportunity and firm offers the right candidate a genuine chance to progress and develop within their payroll career.

Profile

You will be a technically proficient Payroll Specialist, Senior Payroll Administrator / Payroll Supervisor / Team Leader, who has a minimum of 3- 5 years or more, experience in Payroll. Ideally you will have Accountancy Practice experience, payroll bureau and/or experience of large payrolls in industry and be looking to transfer your skills and background into the profession. You will be looking to carve a pivotal, key role within a highly regarded firm of chartered accountants near Canterbury.

Job Offer

£30,000 - £35,000 dependent on experience and background, plus benefits, negotiable
