Join PwC's Financial Advisory team as a Senior Consultant in the Corporate Tax team on a full time basis and drive your own career.

The Opportunity

A career within Corporate Tax will provide you with the opportunity to work on a range of clients, from large multinational groups, Australian listed companies to medium private enterprise. The Corporate tax team covers corporate advisory, deals, M&A, infrastructure and income tax compliance, meaning you will be involved on a diverse range of clients and projects.

As a Senior Consultant, you'll work as part of a team of problem solvers with extensive consulting and industry experience, helping our clients solve their complex business and tax issues from strategy to execution. Specific responsibilities include but are not limited to:
  • Proactively assist in the management of a portfolio of clients
  • Be involved in the financial management of clients
  • Be actively involved in business development activities to help identify and research opportunities on new/existing clients
  • Contribute to the development of your own technical acumen
  • Develop strategies to solve complex technical challenges
  • Assist in the management and delivering of large projects
  • Keep up to date with local and national business and economic issues
  • Continue to develop internal relationships and your PwC brand
Requirements:
  • Applicants will have, or have commenced, CPA (CA, CMA or CGA) or other accounting or legal qualifications (admitted)
  • Strong technical background and broad based tax skills as a result of 2+ years of prior experience in a professional services firm or in industry, with a minimum of 1 years of tax consulting and/or compliance experience
  • A proven leader that possesses exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
  • Strong analytical capability, sound business sense and creative mind that have earned you the reputation of providing excellence in client service experience
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple assignments in an organized manner
  • Demonstrated ability to identify tax consulting opportunities
