Description
The key responsibilities of the Sales Ledger Manager are as follows:
- Providing management of the Sales Ledger function
- Managing a team of sales ledger specialists
- Maintaining effective relationships with suppliers and customers
- Ensuring smooth, timely and accurate processing of all supplier & customer invoices
- Ensure all supplier payments are made in line with payment terms
- Continuously drive process improvements
- Day to day processing of bank transactions
- Internet Banking payments and inter-account transfers
- Set up new businesses with relevant service providers
- Understand customer needs and provide appropriate assistance
- Identify areas for improvement and make recommendation
- Maximise cash availability for investment
- Allocations of customer receipts and processing the monthly DD collections for corporate clients
Profile
The successful candidate for the role of the Sales Ledger Manager will be:
- Have previous experience in a similar role (Qualified AAT or equivalent) - Essential
- Previous supervisory experience - Essential
- A fabulous track record of managing and developing people - Essential
- Ability of working to deadlines, prioritising workload effectively - Essential
- The ability to improve processes within the company - Essential
- Experience of using Microsoft and other applications (Excel, Word, Outlook, CSB, Collect, iPOS) - Desirable
