Assistant Accountant, Permanent, York outskirts, £22-25,000
Your new company
You will be working for a food production company based in a rural location on the outskirts of York. The location is outside of public transport routes so your own transport will be necessary.
Your new role
You will be involved in the preparation of weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual accounts including accruals, prepayments and asset register maintenance. Assisting in the review of gross profit, production, labour and stock variances against standards and preparation of weekly reporting. Providing assistance with the annual budget and involved in regular stock take.
What you'll need to succeed
You will be a part-qualified accountant with prior experience within a similar role, able to organise and prioritise your own work load and within deadlines. Must have good IT skills, knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics would be an advantage. This is a friendly, lively team so would suit somebody with an outgoing relaxed personality.
